Welcome to winter!

It’s hard to believe the first half of 2025 is behind us and harvest for Vintage 2025 is now complete.

Harvest was an eventful six weeks – storms, warm days and nights and then heavy dews as autumn drew near.

Although a relatively quick vintage, our fruit quality is exceptional with some intense flavours and characteristics. 2025 has certainly delivered a traditional Rutherglen continental climate.

A big thank you to our vineyard and winemaking teams for all their amazing work, especially for the early morning starts.

Our events season is now in full swing, with our Autumn Graze and Easter Picnic held successfully with many people enjoying the winery grounds and discovering new release wines at our Cellar Door.

This year tickets to our Bobbie Burns Dinner sold out once again in record time. This annual event in May is a celebration of our Scottish heritage and the release of the latest vintage of our iconic Bobbie Burns Shiraz.
Over the King’s Birthday long weekend, we will again host our popular Winter Graze, which will be followed by our Cellar Club Event Series, which includes a Melbourne dinner (July) at Bottega Restaurant, and lunches in Canberra (July) and Sydney (September) at The Boat House and Manta respectively.

With winter upon us and the days drawing in, discover our new release wines profiled in this edition, as well as our world renowned Topaques and Muscats.

During 2024, our fortified wines enjoyed success at international and national award shows. Notably our Merchant Prince Rare Rutherglen Muscat received a gold medal and winner’s trophy at the International Wine and Spirit competition in the United Kingdom.

Our Merchant Prince Rare Muscat is the pinnacle of the style, the richest and most complete wine – displaying deep colour, intense fruit and mature oak characters, rich viscous texture and extraordinary depth of mellowed complex flavours. The average age is more than 50 years.
